Bike the Appian Way
★★★★★
We rented bikes from EcoBike. We decided to go with traditional bikes not e-bikes. The Appian Way provides beautiful scenery for biking but the ride is rather bumpy. There are plenty of opportunities to hop off your bikes and read the historical signage along the way.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The e-bikes made it very easy to go the hills. Meghan was very informative.

One of the most incredible places in Rome, this is one of the earliest and most important ancient Roman roads. You are literally walking on history here, surrounded by trees and rolling hills. Close-in sections host ancient Roman burial monuments, catacombs, and churches. A wonderful place to go on a Sunday.
