Located in the heart of Rome, this vibrant and elegant square is surrounded by 18th-century buildings augmented by the colorful flowers that adorn the Spanish Steps. The elegant steps by Francesco de Sanctis (1723-1726) consist of twelve flights of varying width, which descend to the scenic Franciscan Church of Trinita dei Monti.
I mean, there’s not much to say about the Spanish Steps as they are essentially just a set of steps. However, they are iconic when it comes to Roman sites, majestic to look at, the fountain is stunning too and for luxury shopping, this is the spot. Yes, it’s crowded, whatever time of day you go, but absolutely worth a visit.

Police don’t do anything there. Terrible traps for tourists
★☆☆☆☆
Horrible place to lure tourist traps. Lots of cheaters, pick pockets. Take your picture and walk away fast.

Best Public Steps in The World 🌍
★★★★★
First of all these are the best public steps in the world 🌎. Second these steps are very charming. Third the reason why they are called the Spanish steps is because they are near the Spanish Embassy. Lastly , I could go back to these steps.

This was so fun and the fountain is so unique! Thr luxury shopping is along the path to the steps. Make sure you do them all, including the church steps, the view of Roma from the top is beautiful!
