Breathtaking though overcrowded

This fountain is absolutely stunning, no photo could ever do it justice. HOWEVER, it has become such a tourist trap, despite charges being introduced. I went around 6:30am and it was absolutely rammed with people queuing to get the perfect photo, barely even glancing at the fountain itself, which was sad to see. I would still recommend visiting when in Rome, but I’m afraid if you come in the summer, there’s not a single time you can go where it won’t be busy.

First stop early in the morning…

If you go really early like 6:00/7:00 AM it will be basically empty and will allow you to take great pictures. The earlier the better. The place is only suited for a quick visit and take a picture and go. I really thought it was going to be a bigger place.

Don’t miss the Lovers fountain

Make sure you take you partner to the right hand side of the fountain and drink from the lovers fountain together and you will forever be in love.
And if you remember chuck a coin in. Lovely place to visit well recommended.
