Campo de' Fiori seems like a nice open air market at first sight, but the disappointment is almost instant. Some stalls sell fruit and vegetables, but most stalls display crappy tourist junk. And even if you start looking at the merchandise, a barker will jump on you trying to sell something, denying you even a quiet moment for inspecting the goods. Furthermore, the square is lined with overpriced bars and restaurants. Oh, there are thousands of better places in Rome, nay tens of thousands.
